lights!

Well, our house passed the final inspection (at least, I hope that's the last one!) today and we got the power turned on! Yay! Paul said I can officially move in now. I don't see that happening quite yet. We've still got some major work to do, but its okay.

I'm headed to the mountains this weekend! I haven't been since Paul took me in '06. His family goes on a trip every year to the mountains, and this year they've invited me to come along. I'm so excited about it. We're leaving Friday and coming back Monday. Which is longer than I usually get to go on vacation, so that's nice.

I rode Junior again on Sunday for about 10 minutes. Again, he was okay. I also rode Sunshine for a little while on Saturday. Unfortunately, I rode her through the corn field that they've just harvested and the cut stalks peeled off her scab and made her leg bleed again. But it looks okay now. Of course, I haven't had time to ride either of them since then. Hopefully I'll be able to ride some this week. We'll see.

I had a quiz tonight, I have homework due tomorrow, a midterm exam on Thursday (pray for that one), and an exam on Friday. Whew. This week sucks for school!
