Junior's leg looks better today. It's still slightly swollen, but at least it's improved. I'm continuing to cold-hose it several times a day, and I really think that's helping. Of course, tomorrow I go back to work so he'll only get it in the morning (if I'm lucky and not running late, as I usually am) and in the evening. Better than nothing, I guess.
Of course, I may have the vet look at him tomorrow anyway. That's right, Sunshine's leg looks like crap today. I took her bandage off (he said leave it on a week) and wow. Not pretty. I think the vet needs to come out and cut the flap of skin off so new skin can grow over it. I'm not sure it's gonna heal like it is right now. It bothers her, too, though it's not swollen or hot. I'm going to make a decision in the morning. I hate to miss work again, and I really don't have much money to be playing with, but I don't want my horses to be lame, either. *sigh*
