While I've got the camera out, I figured I'd post a few pics of our land. We took some "before" shots the other night so that years from now when our pastures are all fenced in differently and the house is up and everything looks different, we can remember how it started. I didn't get the pics until after the septic tank was put in but you get the idea of how it looked before.
This is what you see when you pull into our driveway (it's not done yet - I think eventually there'll be rocks down the whole thing).

This is a view of the pond - the house will sit behind the pond, which is to the left of this shot.

This is where the house will be! The septic tank is to the left, you can't see it in this pic.
And this is looking back towards the road from beside where the house will be.

Can you tell I'm excited about this?! ( : Oh, in the above shot, the cows are fenced in on the left side of the driveway (we put the fence up the next day after this pic was taken), and the horses will go on the right. Pretty good fescue goin on here. And Paul's gonna plant rye (I think) this winter. So I shouldn't have to worry about too much hay this winter - woohoo!
