day off

I took a vacation day today. I needed one! Not that I'm doing much relaxing today; I'm about to get ready to go with Leslie to her bridal portraits. I'm doing her makeup and I'm kinda nervous about it. If I screw up, her pictures will look bad! Yikes!

I finally got to ride Sunshine today!! WooHoo!!! I was so excited. It's been nice and cool this morning, and just started getting humid about 30 minutes ago. She was SO good, much better than I expected her to be. After all, she hasn't been worked by me in several weeks. But it was like I just worked her yesterday. I was so happy. We both worked up a sweat but didn't have any arguments. We both need to loose some weight! (I tried on my wedding dress last night....couldn't get it to zip all the way - uh-oh! I knew I had gained a little weight, but dang! Ah well, I can drop weight pretty easily, I'm not too worried.) It was so nice to be on her again.

Today the septic tank is being put in at our land! And THAT means that we can move the trailer! (Can you tell I'm excited this morning?!) Paul's already got all the permits taken care of. All we have to do after the trailer is moved is do the plumbing and electrical work, then get it inspected. I'm really hoping we can move it this weekend, but I'm not holding my breath. Next Saturday is Paul's brother's wedding, so we'll be too busy to deal with the trailer then. But the point is, I'll be moving soon! It's getting closer every day. ( :

I think I've about decided to leave the horses here for a while. At least until my grass in the pasture dies. I've worked too hard to get it lookin so good, I don't want to waste it. I need to post pictures of it, it's impressive.

Anyway, I gotta go get ready - duty calls!
